Longtime Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak had a “depressing” moment with a contestant.
Jennifer, 76, who lives in Texas but was born in England, was unable to solve the puzzle during Wednesday’s episode.
Not only did the game show player lose during the bonus round, her answer to the tricky riddle was as discouraging as her defeat.

“You have 10 seconds to try to speak out, good luck,” Sajak said.

“Nothing loves you,” Jennifer replied.
After the player’s answer, laughter was immediately heard from the audience.

Nothing… yet… you… nothing, she tried to guess again.
“It was a depressing decision,” Sayak said.

Then it turned out that the puzzle was: “Nothing bothers you.”

After Jennifer failed to solve the puzzle correctly, Sayak revealed that she had lost her grand prize of a brand new Lincoln car.

“Well, I’m sorry,” Sayak sympathized.
The Wheel of Fortune social media account shared a viral moment with the caption “We PROMISE this is not a puzzle” with a laughing emoji.
Fans were quick to comment on the failure of the puzzle.

One fan agreed with Sayak and wrote, “It was fun and depressing.”
Others laughed at Jennifer’s mistake: “Hahaha!! When she said, “No one loves you,” I’m laughing… seriously?” with a laughing-crying emoji and an emoji with rolling eyes.

Viewers quickly noticed her British accent and commented that she was a “very sweet” performer.

Jennifer wasn’t the only contestant to take a chance on her favorite game show lately.
Last week, a player named Bradley sent a special message before solving the puzzle.
With 10 seconds left, the Wheel of Fortune participant decided to give special thanks to his loved ones before deciphering the phrase.

“Sino, Kalani, Shilo, dad loves you… Glad to hear it,” Bradley shouted proudly as he solved the puzzle correctly.
Bradley didn’t seem to mind that he raced against the clock and still won a brand new car as a bonus round prize.
The contestant was delighted to see him clapping enthusiastically and running towards his shiny new prize, a red Chevy SUV.
